On-board weighing on wheel loaders

  • 2 hydraulic pressure sensors measure dynamically while lifting on both sides of the pistons in the lifting cylinders,
    Weighs at any lifting speed thanks to the double proximity switches on the lifting boom,
    Installation can be done on any wheel loader, from small to big sizes, new or used and all brands.Having a longer lifetime than the wheel loader itself, it is often transferred from the old to the new truck.

    Weighing microprocessors PFREUNDT WK60-XS, WK60-Smart, WK60-S or WK60 have following common features:
    + Accuracy: 1%
    + Accumulation of consecutive weighings
    + Subtract from a target weight
    + Target weight of the last bucket can be easily achieved
    + Stand-by button: weighings are temporarily inhibited
    + Color touchscreen display with alphanumeric keyboard with hardened safety glass.

The many possibilities on the WK60-XS, WK60-SMART, WK60-S and WK60 as described above can be activated or deactivated during installation to best suit your needs.

On-board weighing on dumpers

Avoid overloading which causes breakage and premature wear on the truck,
optimise the dumper loading to improve efficiency.

Dynamic measurement while tipping off,
for small or big dumpers, with rigid or knick dumpers,
Fully automatic registration of the transported mass, of driving, loading and stop times, of the driven distances empty and loaded, as well as the overloaded occurrences.
Shows a detailed productivity report of the driver and his dumper,

The accuracy depends from the equal spread of the load on the dumper.

On-board weighing on cranes

On truck cranes with 3 rated capacities: 1000, 2000 and 5000 kg,
Stronger construction on hydraulic cranes: 10, 20, 45 and 100 tons,

Compact round casing with limited building height,
Integrated damping and pivoting suspension of the load cell in the casing,
Can be stamped in class OIML III (0,1%), which guarantees its accuracy and gives confidence to your customers,
Data transfer from load cell to display by cable or by radio when built on telescopic booms.
Doesn’t need any modifications on crane nor hook.
Dedicated software with microprocessor PFREUNDT WK60,

On-board weighing on crushers, road milling machine and belts

A current roller station is built on a PFREUNDT weigh beam,
with a tachometer,
with a slope meter when the angle is variable,
specially built for heavy applications in quarries, on mobile crushers and road mills,
microprocessor PFREUNDT WK60, usually built into a steel cabinet,
the LCD display shows the flow (tons/hour) and the total amount of moved material,
3 separate subtotals.

Easy installation on almost any belt conveyor.

+ transfer to PC of weighing data by memobox or GSM.
+ productivity statistics,
+ analogue output for process control,

Weighing system on board of a telescopic handler

+ weighs when the telescopic boom is retracted or extended; to be decided at time of calibration,
+ normal accuracy about 1%, when truck is fitted with a bucket, worse with forks because the load center can vary, hence the weight arm and lifting force,
+ digital display in the cabin.

+ transfer of weight data to PC by chip card or GSM,

2 measuring principles are available:
A. Measure the hydraulic pressure:
a pressure transducer must be inserted between the check valve and the lift cylinder,
an inductive switch detects when the boom is at the proper height.

B. A strain gauge measures the bend of the boom:
independent of the hydraulic system condition and built-in valves,
permanent signal allows to mix and dose
